The US operations of Choroa Luxury Safaris is based in the high desert of Central Oregon in the resort town of Bend. We take our recreation seriously and are privileged to offer some of the most authentic and amazing experiences in Eastern Africa.

Years ago, a businessman from Bend, traveling on a photo-safari with his family to the Serengeti, met a native Tanzanian guide named Themmy. This guide was a man of incredible charisma and character. His knowledge of local flora and fauna was unparalleled, and he proved to be the most incredible host a family so far away from home could ever hope for. The two men soon became friends, and the seeds for what would become Choroa Luxury Safaris were sown.

Today, as one of the owners of Choroa, Themmy still personally guides every group we send. He stays with you every step of the way and you receive the same personal attention that we have all experienced under his care. There are many ways to see the Serengeti, Ngorogoro Crater, and all that Tanzania has to offer, but none more profound than our personal tour.
